FERNANDO GALVAN

Coach Fernando's goal as a coach is to instill a passion for the beautiful game of soccer in our future generations.  Coach utilizes his experience as a player, coach, assessor and referee to develop players for the next level who understand the laws of the game and who will pass on a passion for soccer to the next generation!

Coach Fernando Galvan has been a passionate student of soccer since the age of five. Growing up in Mexico, he played youth soccer from U5 to U14 before moving to the United States, where he continued his playing career at North Hills High School. He later played college soccer at Central Christian College in Kansas. Coach Fernando's dedication to soccer extends beyond playing; he has a deep passion for officiating. Beginning as a Grade 8 Local Referee in 1994, he progressed to become a National Referee for the United States Soccer Federation. His extensive refereeing experience includes officiating amateur state and national games, professional development league games, United States league games, and Major League Soccer games. He has also officiated international matches involving teams from Mexico, Finland, Honduras, El Salvador, the USA, River Plate (ARG), Club America (MEX), Chelsea (ENG), and Paranaense (BRA). Currently holding a National D License. His coaching career has been marked by numerous league victories and a strong commitment to player development. With his vast knowledge of the game and dedication to nurturing young talent, Coach Fernando continues to inspire and develop soccer players at all levels.
